Cold Brook Farm Honey – “Luck of the Draw Jars”

Usually we sell our honey in vintage dated “sets” so that you can sample the incredible difference in flavors produced by each colony.  Since our bees are left to do their own thing, however, we always have some extra jars that cannot be placed in a complete set.  Thus our “Luck of the Draw Jars.”  Each 12-ounce jar may come from either the Spring or Fall nectar flow, this year or last, but they are always exceptional.

As part of maintaining a balanced ecosystem here on the Farm we keep just four bee hives on our 43-acres (European Honeybees are not native and compete for nectar with native pollinators).  We manage our bees organically and humanely, leaving most of the honey produced in the hives.
